Couldn't sleep so went off to investigate the state of my plants. One of my lavenders is being fussy (brown tips, curling leaves) but also, pleased enough with life to be sprouting a variety of new growth from the base??

Going to let her dry out since I suspect part of the problem is that I was treating her like a new sapling still and watering every week vs. two weeks. So, let's see.

But I'm also pleased? New milestone as a plant mom. I nurtured a tiny stub into a full-grown adult with its own kids. o_o

... also, would like to note that her sister, who I accidentally robbed of half her roots, is fucking flourishing rn. o_o Plants are weird.

I wish I had enough light in my apartment to grow lavender inside. It's an incredible plant.

Yeah I know. Tried to grow some with my mom and they didn't last long. Our backyard had TOO much sun and they just roasted. Ah well. One day I'll grow some.

Oh god. That reminds me of when I hopefully stuck them outside to deal with fungus gnats. Two days later, realized they'd went crispy. @.@

What super annoyed me is that we were told that they should thrive in the sun that we had. Apparently not.
