...I have never had a problem with the butter melting when making biscuits, what are you doing to yours

My mom never had a problem either but when I tried to make scones (gotta incorporate the butter the same way) it melted like crazy in my hands. Maybe my hands are just too warm. Idk. It was after I tried to use a fork and the fork didn’t work so well.
