We just got an email from our university that says that there will be a program in the next few weeks to do mass testing of staff and students...who only live in campus/uni accommodation. Which I do not think actually accounts for most of the population who work/study there

They said that IDing clusters within residences is important, and I agree. But if asymptomatic or presymptomatic people come onto campus and refuse to wear masks etc or have these face visors or whatever, that will be bad.

@tcddublin@pjprendergast we all deserve to have testing, not just the people who live in uni residences. And honestly, how many postgrads live in residence@GoddessGuide@AbhiswetaBhatt1? We have to come into campus, and many need to use public transportation.2 replies 0 retweets 1 likeShow this thread -
These sorts of half measures won't work, and it is once again very insulting, but I bet that
@GoddessGuide and@AbhiswetaBhatt1 will look at this as a victory rather than a concession from college who don't want to keep ALL of us safe.1 reply 0 retweets 1 likeShow this thread
Why is @tcddublin @pjprendergast just unable to take @laoneill111's advice that we should ALL be tested?
