We just got an email from our university that says that there will be a program in the next few weeks to do mass testing of staff and students...who only live in campus/uni accommodation. Which I do not think actually accounts for most of the population who work/study there

These sorts of half measures won't work, and it is once again very insulting, but I bet that
@GoddessGuide and@AbhiswetaBhatt1 will look at this as a victory rather than a concession from college who don't want to keep ALL of us safe.Show this thread -
Why is
@tcddublin@pjprendergast just unable to take@laoneill111's advice that we should ALL be tested?Show this thread

Hi
@AdmiralHip I can clearly read your concerns. The introduction of regular screening will be on a pilot basis first. However, I have asked at a meeting that postgraduates who carry out physical teaching and demonstrating and those in HS be also included alongside academic staff -
The email said that those who live off campus will not be tested, and that it only may be introduced in the future. This isn't an issue of who is considered staff, unless the email is incorrect and that all academic staff are able to get tested.
