The EM doesn’t come after the “Dark Ages” as the tooltip implies, what was thought of as the Dark Ages IS the early medieval period.

Cool! Yeah fair enough, starting small is hard. I managed to lose three wars in my first like two hours of gameplay lol

I hate starting large because you get a million factions against you, whereas I can be small for awhile and build up.

But there are some borked things with tanistry and other succession laws, if it’s not bugged then it isn’t explained well.

I’ve been playing in France so I haven’t experimented with succession laws other than partition. I am SURE there are some bugs to work out lol

Basically for some reason, tanistry just doesn’t seem to be working as intended or if it is it makes no sense, but somehow it overrode my earldom with partition and I when I lost the title based on tanistry I lost everything. Was weird.
