I’m glad I don’t live in halls. Initially everyone was told meals and laundry would be provided, then laundry was not guaranteed, and now students are being charged absurd amounts for food.https://twitter.com/Trinity_News/status/1301211750533136385 …

And a partial credit on the T-Card isn’t great because frankly our on campus food services are pretty meh.

But I do wonder about the extent of dietary restrictions here too. Before covid I still restricted what I ate out a lot, because my allergies are weird and not ones that are declared (except for nuts). So I need to be careful with meals.

I’m curious if others are in a similar position. Not everyone has dietary needs that fit into a checkbox or list. But frankly it is still massively ridiculous that
@tcddublin promised meals and laundry and now neither. And living on campus means you can’t get stuff delivered rn.1 reply 0 retweets 1 likeShow this thread -
Idk if TCD will allow delivery people on campus for food, either takeaway or grocery delivery, but they should.

Replying to @AdmiralHip
That’s a bunch of crap. They should eat the cost and provide the services promised.

Yeah they should, but my college loves to nickle and dime us for everything.
