We're delighted to hear that face coverings are now mandatory in the library, TCDSU are working with the College to ensure that welfare is put first throughout the coming months. this is a step in the right direction towards a safe college experience this year!

A positive move. However, I am concerned about reports that tourists will not be made to wear masks at the Book of Kells. I also hope that

Hi, face coverings are also mandatory for those visiting the Book of Kells and a flow system is in place to ensure minimum contact between tourists and others using campus facilities. For general indoor spaces, college are following the prevailing govt advice at the moment!

Glad to hear it. That wasn’t what the GSU president informed a PhD student earlier this week, which was shared around. It was causing a lot of anxiety. I hope TCD changes their policy on masks for teaching though. The gov’t advice doesn’t say mandatory masks, but it should.
