Y'all. I stopped taking my ADD meds because of various issues with side effects and I am STRUGGLING. I can't focus on anything. I want to give myself some time before I try any new meds so no med suggestions please, but if you have any non-med tips please feel free to share.
I just bought a desk whiteboard to keep track of tasks I need to do. Immediate improvement. I had a blackboard thing years ago that attached to the wall, same deal. Super helpful. I was trying to use journals or post-its but then I would forget to look at them.

Having one of these allows me to confront what I need and it doesn't allow me to forget what I need to do, and it also helps break down tasks into chunks. Many others said it, but coffee/caffeine. Exercise. Music. ASMR is also something I use.

When I start to feel extra fidgety, I try and do something creative or absorbing. Video games, knitting or colouring while listening to a podcast helps me calm down.
