Doing my bibliography is perhaps one of my least favourite things, as is correcting and changing footnotes, but I figure I should start updating my bibliography with stuff from my current chapter and wow even without doing this under pressure like I have in the past 1/
I do know that undergrads get one but the last time I checked it wasn't that thorough. It's fine for undergrads who are writing papers that are 2k words ish and they use very few sources. But I wasn't an undergrad here. We didn't get any guidance in the MPhil 6/

and my supervisor for the MPhil didn't say anything about my footnotes or citation style so I assumed that it was fine and kept using what I was using for the PhD. No comments were made on it for my reviews for year 1 or 2. 7/

So now having to go through my footnotes to change them and not knowing what to do for my bibliography is stressful. I'm having to crowdsource what the other PhDs are doing as well and I get a variety of answers from them. 8/
