Oh hi! I’m also a large-chested person (34H) and did not know that bras could be comfortable for a very long time. If you want to DM for recommendations or just general advice on this, feel free!

I’m not sure what my size is anymore. Last time I checked it was 34FF/G, but probably larger now. I have been told bras fit when they were painful, so basically I have been told I can’t wear underwires. So I wear bralettes now. I live in Ireland, and it’s humid.

So everything chafes and is painful and basically I hate clothes in general. I have been to many places to get fitted but bras are much more expensive here, and shipping is way too much on top of how much bras cost anyway. I can’t order things and return them easily.

Goddess are really good, and I have enjoyed Tutti Rouge, which have a much lower price point than is typical. I also have a Triumph that could take an eye out, though I’m not sure if they’re available in stores near you.

Never seen any of those, and I can’t get to a store these days anyway.

Hmmm. Without knowing exactly what your resources are, I’m not sure what other recommendations I can help make. I would generally say not to discount nursing bras (I know, but their job is comfiness), and to look at retro styles. Bras of the 40’s didn’t have wires & were great.

I think I have some hypersensitivity so seams basically do not work for me, and vintage bras have a lot of seams going on, from what I’ve seen. There may be bra stores around that have something but I won’t be getting a bra fitting in the next long while.

I’ve considered nursing bras but weirdly I haven’t found any that fit.

Anyway, as I said originally, I am more than happy to not wear a bra at the moment as I prefer lounge clothes and I have never in my life worn a bra at home unless I was forced to (company over or something).

Best of luck finding your perfect match when you return to the world at large! It’s a whole process and an exhausting one at that. Enjoy your inside time and stay healthy!

yeah, it's something I've tried to sort out before, hard on a student budget but I'll get it figured out eventually. Thanks :)
