interesting point. Another point is that a lot of us are accused of being under-published as though fighting a racist system, doing anti-racist educating & battling gatekeepers makes publishing easy. Black scholars in our field & even less so in my subfield. There's a lot of hypocrisy in people gleefully saying cite Black women. What they mean (& this goes for the non-Black PoC perpetuating this) is cite *some* Black scholars who can be used as shields. That's not 3/
