For those here who eat oatmeal/porridge (they are the same, don’t @ me), what do you prefer?

alas I still haven't quite gotten the knack of eyeballing the ratio of water to oats. I go for a little bit thick because I add several spoons of cream and a little brown sugar to the finished oatmeal and that brings it back to perfect texture.

I usually eyeball it on the stove, but it’s easier because I can gauge the thickness as I pour the oats in.
