It’s retro game week, and I asked people to name their four favorite retro games as #4retro.
And it leads me to a question. I assumed most of the appeal of these games was nostalgia, but my son loves retro games and seeks out some that were produced before he was born. 1/

I find that a lot of games hold up, and for most of my teenage years and early adult years all I had was a game boy advance (gifted to me when I was a teenager), a DS at 18, and my brothers consoles but I didn’t play much on their stuff.

I really only played the Mario games on the N64 and the GameCube. Otherwise it was the older final fantasy games released on the gameboy advance. I played some of the newer FF games released throughout the years but I never finished them. Replayed FF7 recently and finished it.
