But many under 30s (like myself) are university students who can only work part-time, or are trying to do university work while under lockdown. My mother works but my dad is vulnerable, I would have to completely not interact with him if I was working and not taking CERB.

And otherwise, so what if they're playing video games all day? This whole situation is so hard mentally and emotionally. If that's how they deal with this then okay. It's not really my business nor Scheer's nor yours.

It gets under my skin a tad that these kids with zero expenses got a raise to do zip & refuse to do anything, but is the answer to mandate back to work? No. There will be abuse of any & all programs we will & have had.

Once again, these specific <30’s that I know personally & very well. Not even remotely all. Some bad apples exist in all generations.

That's fair, only that they might not have much else to do than stay home and protect themselves and their families. I don't know how to drive so I wouldn't be able to go to Costco either. And there are ways to get food delivered.
