It is an italian brand but that is not true! The first mention of gnocchi is in a 16C recipe (flour & bread are the main ingredients). Many types of gnocchi developed over the ages but just a few survived. Also older pasta names are fuzzy categories

True, but they are never dried, as far as I know.
