Does anyone have clogged shower drain solutions that are not: baking soda, vinegar, hot water, dish soap? We aren’t going for our weekly shop for a few days and those “home remedies” never seem to actually work, or make it worse.
Ours doesn't unfortunately. I know this after I tried to clean the drain manually with a snake a few years back. I no longer have what I used to clear it though.

Clean trap, caustic soda, or snake. Those are the only three that really work. If you're desperate and you're sure there's no trap, you could plunge it.

Don’t have a plunger, caustic soda, ir snake lol. I feared this may be the case. Ah well. Will just have to buy liquid drain cleaner next week.

Knitting needle? It's really grim, and obviously only works if it's a reachable lump, but if it's (eg) hair caught within a foot of the drain, it might manage.

(And, sympathy!)
