I know it's a learning curve, but learning to crochet after being pretty good at knitting is frustrating because my brain is going "It's wool, you're meant to be good at this!". I am producing some hat. A little at a time.

The problem I have with crochet as opposed to knitting is that in knitting, I know where the stitches are. Occasionally you'll get a "Make 1" that requires you to pick up the bar but mostly, the stitches live on your needles. Crochet? They could be anywhere!

So I'm learning slowly, doing a lot of squinting at Youtube (and trying to find captioned videos), and I'll get there in the end. Right now I'm doing simple beanie hats. I have a dozen washcloths from practicing flat.
