#AcademicTwitter, I’m seeing a lot talk lately about incorporating #COVID into future courses, & I would like to caution that many of our students, for years to come, will have lost loved ones in this pandemic & they won’t see it as a “fun example”. Please proceed carefully.

I was thinking about this earlier. And just the general stress and fatigue of the event. Maybe anything else would be better suited. I was in 4th grade when September 11 happened, from downstate. We never learned about it in school. There wasn’t a reason.
