It drives me bonkers when I post for cooking/baking ideas in a few fb groups I’m in, and list the parameters based on my health and living situation I still get a bunch of replies from people who seem to have just completely missed reading why I ask for help.

I say I need some baking ideas for recipes with what I have, and I get suggestions for loads of recipes that need ingredients that I don’t have???

And then I feel like an asshole for constantly clarifying again that I don’t have these things and I can’t get them.

Or like, I have these allergies and I’m looking for some ideas. And then I get suggestions for food that I’m allergic to.

Anyway if someone has ideas for baked goods that only require self rising flour, salt, water, eggs, and sugar, hmu. I don’t have leavening. Or a mixer or whisk.

There was a time when I asked for recommendations for Chinese folk music and instead got the equivalent of “oldies” I guess (when I asked a friend). Then the person who gave the recommendation was like, well idek what you mean by folk music. It’s like, then why tf did you reply??
