Please circulate this: The French government has issued a warning against taking anti-inflammatory drugs (ibuprofen, Advil, cortisone) with covid-19 symptoms, as it may cause severe cases of the disease, even in young and middle aged adults with no underlying conditions

I’m getting a lot of messages saying chronic conditions should continue to treat without interruption but plesdecreacg out to your doctor for something more accurate

Yes. If I was to stop taking my steroids abruptly, I would suffer adrenal failure. There are many like me and they absolutely need to talk to their doctors before adjusting their doses!

The nasal spray should be fine as it is technically a topical medication and stays in the nasal cavity (plus it’s a minuscule dose if you do swallow some accidentally)

True, it is a very small dose.

Hello, medical student here. You should not stop taking your prescribed meds, especially steroids, unless otherwise advised by your physician. If fluticasone is part of your maintenance medications, do not suddenly stop taking steroids as will cause withdrawal symptoms.

You will need it if you're having an allergy attack to breathe properly, that's the more urgent concern unless you are C19 positive. Ask your doctor for other concerns.

The dose is so tiny you will be fine but you can ask your doctor
