I’m knitting a cable scarf that doesn’t use the same type of terminology as other cable knit patterns I’ve used so I can’t look up advice. Plus this woman uses terminology to refer to stitches that actually mean other things elsewhere.

For instance: m1r/m1l in the pattern are actually m1rb/m1lb, which are pretty different.

Cluster4 is used to refer to a cable decrease instead of anywhere else, which is where you slip 4 stitches without knitting them, more or less.

It is a complicated cable pattern but yeah this is weird to me.

Plus there’s nothing about gauge, what she knitted with (size of yarn and needle), the photos of the finished product aren’t the greatest either.

It’s a very cool pattern and complex, but it drives me a bit bonkers to have to problem solve a pattern.

I just had to start over because of an error, but the pattern is too complicated to frog back. Argh.
