Around these parts we disapprove of people because of their behavior, never ever their bodies. We don't diagnose people even when we don't like them. We believe in radical democracy, sharing is caring, and also eating the rich.

Borders are violence. Return stolen land to the sovereignty of indigenous people, honor the treaties. Abolish the police and tear down the prisons. End monoculture farming and adopt holistic practices that heal the land, which are going to include livestock, sorry.

Anyway I live on 7 acres of exhausted soil that used to be part of a tobacco farm. Tobacco is hell on dirt. I needed out of my marriage, my friend who owned this land wanted it to have a chance to heal, so my sheep and goats and I came down.

The sheep and goats are here to eat whatever forage will grow and then poop. Also to scatter the parts of hay they find unpalatable and poop. Bit by bit and piece by piece, the land will become silvopasture - heavily shaded edge of forest meadows that are very biodiverse.
