So my issues with the Witcher 3 stand even as I get through the game (massive open world that feels pretty lifeless and repetitive, none of the women wear practical clothing for close combat fighting, the sexual violence is really unnecessary), but I gotta say, it’s reeled me in.

Also I find it hilarious that the people who told me this game would make me not want to touch Skyrim or Fallout 4 again were very wrong.

Many issues those games have are actually worse in The Witcher 3, namely the repetitive open world. And tbh in Skyrim and Fallout I feel the areas were pretty discrete. Here it’s field, marsh, mountain, forest, lakeside. Nothing really discernible or unique imo.

Plus it bothers me that I’m getting quests early on that I can’t complete until I’m a way higher level. And the leveling system isn’t great tbh.

Vernon Roche would be such a cool dude if he wasn’t shitty about Elves. He has the best fashion and voice actor.
