There were many times I despaired but I came through, accepted it, and now I deal with it. And in the whole, I feel lucky to have done and do what I do. I love my research and having met so many amazing people in academia and outside on here has enriched my life.

I met some pretty awesome people IRL too. Most don’t follow me on here but I feel very lucky to know them and have known them.

Oh and also I guess I became an amateur birdwatcher
I always loved birds, but now I try to watch out for them and photograph them. My mom just got me some binoculars and a bird book for Christmas (I didn’t even ask for them from my family but she got the book I wanted).Show this thread -
