there's a type of performative "activism" that consists of tweeting "none of those woke people that always do x ever does y", or "I haven't seen any of these woke people who always talk about z say anything about ȝ"

It’s pretty shocking that the person saying that has gaslight me, specifically, and has also used “kinda triggery” as an excuse to target an ECR’s book title.

Oh yeah. They went on and on about how BIPOC and LGBTQ+ ECRs shouldn’t be on boards but need to be protected by senior scholars (we aren’t babies and can speak for ourselves but okay) and then went on to complain about alterity as a concept.

I might have mixed stuff up in my head but they kept saying that the AS debate was running over other (BIPOC/queer) voices and when queer scholars told them off they deflected and kept moving the goalposts. They complained about alterity at another stage and deleted I think.
