are you saying identifying racism creates racism? or can you identify where you have seen me “yelling” at anyone?

anyway, to get back to “dialogue”, I find it notable that as far as I can see
@ProfWmSmith has not responded to any of the points and questions raised by@dorothyk98 in this conversation here - which raises the question, once again, who is included in the dialogue?1 reply 1 retweet 6 likes -

Also Dr Kim has said she doesn’t want to be in the same room as those people. So what dialogue? They need to be called out on their actions and challenged but it’s not our responsibility to reach out, in person or otherwise.

And tbh women often but even more so WOC get framed as hysterical and irrational against the rational white men who will gaslight and sealion them, and would likely relish the chance to do so in person where they absolutely have backup from their friends or other “reasonable” ppl

Yeah I'm the irrational one, that's why I haven't blocked or muted any of these people who can't be bothered to "dialogue" but will busily and cowardly screenshot me to subtweet themselves into a frenzy.pic.twitter.com/lvXqkkBxmo

It’s the white moderate white calls for civility and whatever the hell else who seems to in fact be more prone to attacking those who disagree or to side with the more horrible folks.

Calling for dialogue assumes “both sides” have done wrong or something. This isn’t marriage counselling.

( old man's laughter ) Ever was blame the argument of the weak, the stick with which losers beat winners - and with which the fool beats himself. Calling for dialogue only supposes some parties are amenable to dialogue, not all parties.

Show me who exactly then on the “other side” as they have framed it would be amenable to dialogue? I doubt you cannot since you just inserted yourself in this discussion without I suspect much knowledge on what has been going on.

I am that other side. You've proven yourself a prickly customer and fairly hostile to me. I say we ought to be civil with those who we might win over and leave the rest to the Devil and all his works. That you find offensive.

I don’t care to be civil with the people in question, and I don’t appreciate (nor does anyone else I suspect) being told how best to approach this. You do you.
