But any scientist telling me that I didn’t read the article or that my original point was that there is no medieval data is incorrect.

What I said yesterday is that medieval data doesn’t exist to tell us about cousin marriages en masse, or adherence to Church laws about consanguinity. It also doesn’t account for N Africa and the Middle East.
