I just blocked a scientist who, yesterday, called me his comrade and was saying that materials need to be made more accessible. Now he is saying that I had unfounded vitriolic critique.

I would also appreciate it if some other historians got in here about this. Because I had several scientists just engage in some super bad faith shit on me when I asked several times over yesterday wtf the data was.

This is a weird methodology. Monasteries just kind of... lead to a seeping-in of church law in the surrounding populaces? I don't think that's how anything works. And surely they should account for the spread of monastic properties rather than just the monasteries themselves?

What about places without monasteries nearby? Like excuse me...that is a lot of Europe. Also monks didn’t enforce Church law on the general populace usually. Plus there are other types of monasteries than what they listed. Ireland and Britain???? C’mon.
