I see a lot of “Anglo-Saxon horn” this and “Anglo-Saxon comb” that all over archaeologists’ feeds, and the defense that contemporary primary sources used the term “Anglo-Saxon”, so here’s another question:

Also: material culture does not reflect identity. Maybe referring to items as English is not entirely accurate either and that is a conversation to have but there is a reason why Kentish material goods are no longer called Jutish.
