And with the cuts from Kenney in my home province I suspect things will be worse. Higher taxes aren’t a bad thing. The problems affecting heath care in Canada are based on cuts. Privatization would be a shitshow.

My father had to be hospitalized a few years ago. It was a life threatening situation. He was seen immediately. I had to go to ER once, I waited a long time. It was not life threatening. But it was all FREE.

No one should have to crowdfund health care. No one should have to go into debt for health care. No one should be resigned to poverty because of health care. No one should have to forgo seeing a doctor because of costs.

I should also point out that for things like broken arms, stitches, etc., walk-in clinics do that and the wait times there aren’t bad at all. Max I’ve ever waited is an hour.
