They're all pretty well equivalent, why? Alpaca is warmer than sheep, because the hairs are hollow, and dog undercoat is warmer than alpaca.

Was just curious. I can’t wear alpaca or even knit with it so I was curious if some sheep’s wool was nicer than others. I had some really nice thick donegal wool that had a fair amount of lanolin in it but I couldn’t keep using it because it had sticks and grass in it.

And it was also very breakable, it kept tearing when I was knitting with it.
