It’s clear from seeing how graduate students unions operate, how faculty operate, that no one will advocate for us without us actually being there. Not in any meaningful way. And I say this as a white woman who has a lot of privilege and have not experienced nearly as many probs

With faculty in my institution or on here speaking about this stuff, or at conferences. How many senior people have been speaking up here? Most seem to be cowed into silence or throwing accusations of witch hunting and not doing enough to fight fascism at WOC.

And by cowed into silence I mean in response to being called out on their lack of responses and such.
