The death threat comment was... in such bad faith that I can't even really deal with it. Like, if changing a name prompts a death threat, that is *not proof that the racism is unconnected to the name*

Also the death threat was, as far as I could tell, linked to the discussion of changing the name and Dr MRO’s talk the other day about white supremacy in the field. So ????
