But it wasn’t for people who are solely students and the handful I know of on the list have ALSO been employed by universities, so please do let me know if you feel a name is there in error. Also, ONE? Out of six and a half thousand?! That seems a pretty good error rate to me...

I wouldn't say undergraduates came under that umbrella. I'd also argue that the letter is presented as having specifically academic authority which is seriously undermined by the fact that people from other sectors have signed.

Well since there is an offer there for you to point out who shouldn’t be on that list because they don’t teach, why not get to it? And then they can verify. Because frankly it sounds like you are assuming a lot about people and their teaching exp.
