I wish that “sex and gender are complex” is what I saw in that letter. I saw just the opposite. The letter (and other public writing of the contributors) argues that biological sex is undeniable and associates biological sex in an unnuanced way with genitalia and chromosomes.

I absolutely agree that women don't have to have those things or do those things to be women. And it's not sex and gender alone that make an identity, I totally agree.

Well then, we seem to agree. So I’m not sure why you keep talking to transphobes in good faith. These people want to deny the humanity and identity of trans people. They aren’t here to be convinced otherwise.

I feel like we are back to the valid critiques of the women’s march and the pink pussy hats. Did we skip discussions of inclusivity and what intersectional means. Can we stop doing feminism second wave.

Just went to look up second wave feminism, I'm no expert. Feels like reproductive rights are still a valid battleground for feminists given the situation around the world. I can still care about that too I think?
