Pride Month really stirs up some stuff for me.
This person was summarily called out and blocked but this is not an uncommon attitude.

I went to Pride once. And I was very aware of how non-queer I looked. No one said anything because I didn’t look any different from others there enjoying it but it really made me think about gatekeeping.

I’m lucky to have had a supportive immediate family when I came out, and supportive friends. But I know others have not and tbh when one’s own community isn’t a safe space? That’s fucked up.
