There really is something very frustrating about someone who claims to not care about people's opinions of him, claims to be for social justice, etc. screenshotting tweets of younger and potentially less established historians and academics, linking to the tweets as well 4/?

When he happens to run a fb page about an open medieval discussion where, when he heavily criticised a WOC in medieval studies, proceeded to mock and gaslight me when I called him out on it. 7/?

I need to back away from this since it won't get me anywhere, but wow, this is just so emblematic of the problems in academia. He patrols Twitter to frame himself as a victim. I have to check around on FB to make sure I'm not going to get harassed. 10/?
