Researching early medieval Irish women remains very difficult due to a lack of good scholarship. It's not that good scholarship doesn't exist, but there isn't much of it tbh.

Although I will probably get to it at some point. My main issue is how (generally male) historians have broached women in my material/area. It's not good.
