What's the word for the feeling you have when you're watching someone who's repeatedly stolen ideas & knowledge from you get play yet again for shit they undoubtedly stole. Bitterness? Anger? Is there a German around who can compound a word?

Because it's tiring and embittering and angering all at once. Like the first time it happened, the person wrote a thread on medieval ag in which the correct parts were taken from me. They got praise & RTs and tons of authors saying what a great resource it was.

It wasn't a great resource. You can't say "medieval ag" meaningfully, you have to speak of places and times and pasture and arable. Someone whose hands on ag experience was summers on fruit farms in Cali won't know shit about driving an ox team in a straight line.

If you're an author and you go to that person for advice on ag in your medieval fantasy world, your ag will be fucked up. But hey I don't have a podcast or a PhD so what can I know about field rotations, crops, work schedules, and the hands on of oxen, amirite

It's just exhausting. I've put a lot of time into Neolithic and very early medieval British ag. I've put slightly less into a broader grasp of the western European innovations in the 14th and 15th centuries. I don't have a PhD, but that person's isn't in medieval history so.pic.twitter.com/Jv1MyMQ4Xt
