People laugh but the only AC you'll find in the UK or Ireland is in a grocery store...if you're lucky. Plus the humidity makes it so much worse. People are getting sick, heat stroke etc. from this cuz no one's used to it. Doesn't help that we had bad cold wave in Feb/March. https://twitter.com/tuff_ghost__/status/1012750119245156352 …
Yep, Calgary. Never been to Ontario but my bf's mom lived in Toronto years ago and talked about how awful it got. And yeah, I hope so too, there's a drought warning for Ireland this week and I'm in the UK atm, then I'll be in Canada for a month.

:0!! I'm a couple hours SE of Calgary! Hah, Albertans all over the place. Folks can come talk to us when it's -33 before windchill (Insert I'm a northerner vine here) RIP Ireland and the UK. Hope y'all have lots of fans and ice

haha I will say when we had snow in Ireland a few months back, it was a proper snow storm, worthy of Canada haha. Melted quickly though. And right now I'm just trying to stay out of the sun, no ice or fans around :(

I'm forever grateful that we don't have to deal with the humidity- my mum's from southern Ontario and it's brutal there.
