North American archaeology persists in reaffirming colonialism against Indigenous peoples and anything that contradicts the land bridge theory is dismissed as being inaccurate testing.
There are several archaeological finds that contradict the narrative that Indigenous peoples arrived over a land bridge. More importantly, archaeologists dismiss Indigenous beliefs. I suggest looking up the Kennewick man controversy and Monte Verde as some examples.

Yes, I know this, I was an archaeologist in the US for nearly 20 years. I believe it is the "old guard" of archaeologists who doggedly stick to this model. Kennewick man was discovered when I was in grad school. I personally love seeing the "land bridge" theory trashed.
