Okay, if you find yourself with wine and no corkscrew: 1) wrap an item of clothing (shirt, jumper, scarf) around the base of the bottle 2) hammer the clothing-covered base against a wall. Not full force. But not a tap 3) eventually the pressure build up will force the cork out

Also please point it away from your head. Or the cork will fire out and smack you in the face, making you look like a chump. This is also handy if the cork has broken and you don't want it crumbling into your tasty booze
