    Every COP is a last chance saloon for saving the climate, and the end of every COP is ‘weak and compromised’. And so the cycle goes to infinity.

    It is beyond my understanding why research is not more concerned with how climate is affecting our daily lives and how we will deal with adverse climate impacts already locked-in for the next 100 years, than they are with what type of target will be agreed at the COP. -end

    As this paper indicates, we are emitting CO2 in the atmosphere by just staring at our tv or phone. And probably much more than we think we do. More research like this is needed.

    "Please stop the climate from changing" say those companies that are among the most responsible for causing it. We really need a new discussion on who is driving climate change. It's not fossil fuel companies. They are just lubricating the system.
