    Rio's Olympic Mayor, who evicted some 80,000 favela residents during his previous two terms, was re-inaugurated on January 1st after winning election in late 2020. Here he is already bragging about evicting more people. During a pandemic.

    “All university and college teaching to be online unless face-to-face teaching is absolutely essential”.

    Includes this key Sage recommendation "for immediate introduction". Of these, the only one that went with was reversing his 'go to the office' advice.

    Listening to brilliantly break down the theory of why this struck me as odd - it's a spectacle of social justice which is disconnected from on the ground realities

    Remember this when watching Premier League players kneel before games. The guys who started this form of activism back in 2015 like and sacrificed their careers, and are still out of a job
