    update: Greer withdrew from this year's Novak Fellowship, per director Daniel McCarthy. Greer "failed to disclose his pseudonymous and prejudiced writing when he applied," McCarthy said. "Had he done so, he would not have been considered for a fellowship."

    This is both the takeaway from that piece and the “I almost resigned” stuff in the Woodward book.

    The significance of the NYT anonymous op-ed is that it shows Rs beginning to think about how they'll be positioned in a post-Trump era, however it arrives.

    People from wealthy dc suburbs are always (hilariously) trying to claim dc street cred but I never thought I’d see a scotus nominee do it
