  1. When you push reckless policies that squander our resources, defy our values, leave 800,000 federal workers unpaid and millions of Americans without needed services, you don’t need to declare a national emergency. You are the national emergency.

Had a tradition since high school. Say “rabbit rabbit” as your first words after midnight and it brings a year of luck. Absurd? Maybe. But if JPL scientists can pass a jar of peanuts around each landing for luck, and they’re SCIENTISTS, why not? You’d be crazy not to. Right?

Of the Trump administration’s many failings, its disregard for the truth is the most corrosive to our democracy. Trump and his ministers of propaganda may not know right from wrong, but we must never accept falsehood as a new norm, for when we do, we accept the end of democracy.

The revelation that the President of the United States has been discussing a criminal case in which he's been implicated with the Acting Attorney General shows that our worst fears about the Whitaker appointment have been realized, and breaks with decades of precedent.

In our long history, an administration has always managed to keep the government open when it controlled both houses of Congress, until now. The corruption problems within this administration are bad enough; but its incompetence is now just as debilitating.

It's the anniversary of the GOP tax bill. The President called it “a bill for the middle class.” So how's it going? U.S. companies announced over $400bn in stock buybacks. The Dow is down 2000 points. GM is laying off 14,000 workers. And your pay raise was lost in the mail.

First, we learned the Trump Administration did not keep track of the children they separated from families. Now, we learn that the Secretary of Homeland Security can’t even say how many people have died in their custody. This is a profound indictment of an unconscionable policy

A good man resigns as Defense Secretary, The acting Attorney General ignores the advice of ethics lawyers, And the government is shutting down. This is what happens when an administration is both unethical and incompetent.

This weekend, the president’s tv lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, said that: Colluding with the Russians to influence our election is not a crime; Paying hush money to influence a campaign is not a crime; And even if it is, it’s not a “big crime”. Apparently “crime” isn’t “crime”.

The midterms were a fight for our shared values, and we won an astounding 40 seats! That fight continues in where the GOP may have engaged in serious election fraud. Let’s help get ready for a special election, and make it 41!

Last month millions voted to protect healthcare for people with pre-existing conditions. Yesterday a judge just sided with Trump and the GOP to strike down the ACA. We must fight back. This ruling will likely be overturned, but the struggle to protect our care is far from over!

First, deny having an affair with a playmate or pornstar, If that doesn’t work, deny knowing about the hush money payment, then Deny that it was about the campaign, then Deny directing your lawyer to break the law, then If all else fails, there’s always “I am not a crook.”

“I'm probably the most ethical person you ever met,” says Rudy Giuliani, the man who told us that “truth isn’t truth,” as he solicits work from authoritarian governments around the world. Apparently “ethics isn't ethics” either.
