These numbers seem very low and underwhelming. It’s the biggest box office battle since Gremlins & Ghostbusters both opened on June 8, 1984. I hope they end up pulling in bigger weekend numbers than what most of this year’s summer blockbusters have made opening day.

A question I always got as a kid was, “So, did you play with Barbies growing up?” I did. Because the “plays” I’d put on for family with my toys needed more strong female characters. I couldn’t cast ONLY my JP Ellie Sattler toy EVERY TIME. So, I asked for Gymnast Barbie.

Always wanted to experience a ride evac. After avoiding spoilers for Ratatouille before it came to Epcot and being so excited to finally experience it, THAT ended up being my first evac. But it was just as the mice arrived at the exit and the ride was over. Best of both worlds.

The mythical ride evacuation! To some it’s a dream, to others it’s a ruined ride nightmare. We’ve been evacuated from Everest and others and LOVED it. Have you ever been walked off a ride? Do you hope for it or is this just us? Is it a rare event to be relished or dreaded?

I don’t know what this is, but it came across my timeline and it’s the scariest movie trailer I’ve seen. I watched it during the day (albeit a dark and stormy one) and am already afraid to sleep with lights off tonight.

OK #StrangeWorld is a super fun, creative little film that doesn’t deserve the poor box office. But, I went by myself this morning and had the first five rows of the XD theater to myself and it was amazing. Felt like a private screening. I love when I take myself on dates.
