Got to read this today and ended up thinking: I wish they had measured oxidised LDL cholesterol or SOD2 activity because an imbalanced NAD/NADH ratio could lead to the cell trying to undo the charge imbalance by exporting ROS to the outside via the PMRS (de Grey's hypothesis)

Because in this case, if the hypothesis is correct, circulating T cells would have it easier to spread ROS through the organism.
