I know what I need to do. And yet every day I choose not to do it. Not reading books, not doing research, not working on side projects. Everything seems so boring, nothing is exciting. Have I ever been excited by my research? Maybe during the first month here a year ago.

Someone I know was prescribed going out more with friends (by nature he's quite introvert)+more bright light , and that seems to have helped
