Viruses are always mutating. You've got to look at the mutation rate, and the rate for CoVid19 is not alarming, for the moment. The main problem with a high mutation rate is drug resistance. You fight it by combining several drugs.

Germany now included test for
#SARSCoV2 in routine flu surveillance. They picked up only one case near Stuttgart (Bavaria's neighbor state capital). Seems unlikely that it's as widespread in southern Germany as in Italy already. -
